The Uptown Association is an active organization of business and property owners in the Uptown area whose goal is to continue to create and improve the Uptown business district. |

The Uptown Ankeny Association organizes several key events annually to promote the interest and development of the Uptown area. These events and activites include LaVitsef, where Uptown is showcased in an outdoor street festival; the Farmer's Market runs every Saturday morning from May through September; the Kiddie Parade as part of the Ankeny SummerFest activites; Trick or Treat in Uptown; and our holiday event is the Santa Treasure Hunt. Plus the Association is in involved with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony sponsored by the Ankeny Building Association. The Uptown Association holds its monthly meetings the first Thursday of each month at noon. The meetings are held at the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce office on S. Ankeny Blvd. The yearly dues are $50 and goes into the Association’s general fund to promote and sponsor events and enhance the Uptown area.
